   Playa Hermosa lies just north of Santa Teresa, and is known for its long, broad, nearly deserted beach, with a great beach break and point break for surfing. Most of the Playa Hermosa area near the beach is owned by a handfull of people who have no interest in selling, which is keeping the area very peaceful and beautiful.
