Lots are now for sale for $50-$70,000 in the Rancho Delicioso eco village:
This is a true eco village, the only one of its kind in the Southern Nicoya Peninsula. Partly owned by Anamaya and its owners (the yoga/wellness center in Montezuma), it currently provides much of the food for the resort, and includes many amazing things such as:
Permaculture volunteer center
Green building research
Several acres of active farms with over 120 edible plants
Hydroponics
Tilapia fish ponds
Goats and 100+ chickens
Horses
Over 2 acres of construction-grade bamboo plantations
Geodesic Dome
And more…
More than half of the 48+ acres of Rancho Delicioso is set aside for nature reserves, public orchards, grazing for animals, experimental growing or building projects, and open space.
Rancho Delicioso is looking for like-minded people who are interested in yoga, fitness, healthy organic food, surfing, music and dance and the arts in general. It’s a non-smoking space. We want well-balanced people who can take care of themselves and exist in harmoniously in a community without a bunch of HOA rules.
We plan to build a yoga/dance shala, more fish ponds, a trail for bicycles, horses, running, and exercise, and a space to have regular “Farm to Table” dinners for the community.
This is a very unusual project, unique in Costa Rica, not done for profit but to build something amazing. All the owners are performers, artists, yogis, musicians, focused on living in a high state of health, awareness, and personal responsibility and we’re looking for similar people for the project.
Anyone interested in living at Rancho Delicioso should contact Geoff McCabe (geoff@tropisphere.com) and expect to meet the other owners to make sure everyone gets along well and we have shared values, etc. Disclosure: Geoff is also the CEO of Tropisphere, and lives at Rancho Delicioso. He wants awesome neighbors!
