The town is very well maintained and clean. We have two international airports, one in Liberia, about 1 hr 15 min away and the other in San Jose, about 3 hrs 30 min away.
A few minutes down the road is the Monte Alto National Reserve with great hiking trails. Playa Carrillo & Playa Samara are a 35 min. scenic drive away and are clean, unspoiled and picture perfect.
