This is a really nice small farm with an epic view. It’s a true hilltop, with three building sites connected together. The highest one has 360 degree views, including view of the ocean.
It’s fairly large, at 2.4Ha that makes it 6 acres. There’s enough room to have a couple of horses in addition to a house and guest house.
Because it’s on a public road, this property could be ideal for a small hotel or B&B. It can also be subdivided.
The owner says the property also has its own spring, and water flowing in a stream year round. You could also extend the public water tubes to have that as a backup. When we hiked down to the creek, at the end of the driest year in 50 years, there was only a small amount of running water, and parts of it were dry. So in my opinion this doesn’t qualify as a spring unless it’s enough water to use 365 days a year. However, a hand-dug well could be dug next to the river which would almost certainly have all the water you need all year.
The main drawback is that the public power lines would need to be extended to reach this property, which would take 2-4 poles and cost perhaps up to $8000-$12000 to install. Or, this would be an ideal property for solar power because it has many hillsides sloping towards the south.
This is a highly recommended property really worth seeing, and the owner is eager to sell it.
